- ExchangeRight has expanded its Strategic Relations team with the addition of Kara Howard as director of national accounts. Howard will lead Pasadena-based ExchangeRight’s efforts to strengthen and increase strategic partnerships with broker-dealers, RIAs, custodial platforms and institutional accounts.
- CREW San Diego, a membership organization committed to the ongoing advancement, education and empowerment of women in San Diego’s commercial real estate industry, announces its 2024 board of directors. The board will be led by Elizabeth “Liz” Doll, executive director of asset services for Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc.
- Ruben Kast De Martinez has joined Kidder Mathews as SVP in El Segundo, specializing in industrial, investment, and development properties in Greater Los Angeles. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, he gained experience working with boutique and national firms, with his most recent significant tenure at CBRE. Over his career, he has negotiated acquisitions, dispositions and leasing services totaling more than 3,500,000 square feet and more than $625,000,000 in value.
- Pegasus Asset Management Inc. announced the election of Seth Bell to the Westwood Village Improvement Association board of directors. Bell currently serves as managing director at Pegasus and oversees management of the firm’s $2-billion managed real estate portfolio. He joins several real estate leaders on the board, including Kevin Crummy, CIO at Douglas Emmett, and Bret Nielsen, COO at Anderson Real Estate.
- JE Dunn Construction hired Christian Pellecchia as senior client solutions manager for its Northern California office. His primary focus in his new role will be to advance JE Dunn’s position in several markets, including advanced industries, mission critical, higher education and aviation.
- BLT Enterprises has completed the $1-million renovation of BLT Studios, its wholly-owned and operated film studio and soundstage property in Hollywood, California. The renovations included interior, exterior, and HVAC upgrades to improve the functionality and aesthetics of the studio spaces for BLT Studios clients.
- Yardi, a Santa Barbara-based provider of software solutions for real estate, has launched ResidentShield Power, a retail energy service designed for properties and residents. The service is currently available in Texas to Yardi Voyager clients, with future releases to serve additional deregulated energy markets in the U.S.
- The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) said the first class of the BIASC Hall of Legends and Century Award winners, two groups of individuals recognized for their notable work and significant impact in the building industry, will be revealed at the BIASC Centennial All Regional Gala Installation on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Rancho Mission Viejo Equestrian Center in San Juan Capistrano. The inaugural Hall of Legends memorializes and pays tribute to talented leaders, while the Century Awards honors individuals and organizations for their longstanding, distinguished partnerships within the industry.

His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications.
Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
